KwaZulu-Natal is a great birding destination, with many specials and endemics, both common and rare.
From the iconic Sani Pass to lush sub-tropical forests and pans in Zululand, this course of four sessions introduces to 120 birds in habitat-based approach, and gives preferred localities and accommodation.
Here is a breakdown of what to expect in each session:
Session 1: The Drakensberg Mountains (The Sani Pass)
Session 2: Upland Grasslands and Mist-belt Forests of Southern KZN
Session 3: Scarp and Coastal Forests of Zululand
Session 4: Grasslands, woodlands and pans of Zululand
The course (for all 4 sessions) costs R550 for a single person, join with 2 or more and the price is R700.
For pensioners the cost is R400.
The course includes detailed presentations and course material that is prepared and sent to you afterward that will aid you in your birding.
Our ‘classrooms’ will be small to enable you to get some one-on-one time and we will open up opportunities for follow-up support from Aldo and myself.

Session 2: Monday, 14 December at 11:00
